Clear answers before service.
Learn how vehicle matching, mobile service, pricing, insurance, calibration and appointment confirmation work.
Why do you need my VIN?
Modern windshields can have cameras, rain sensors, heating elements, acoustic layers and other options that vary by build. A VIN helps match the exact glass and avoid ordering the wrong part. It is optional; you can also provide the year, make and model.
Is the online price final?
No. The online amount is a preliminary estimate. Final pricing is confirmed after the correct glass, factory options, moldings, sensors, calibration requirements, parts and local availability are verified. See the pricing guide.
Can insurance cover windshield or auto-glass service?
Comprehensive or full-glass coverage may pay for eligible damage, subject to the policy, deductible, state rules and insurer authorization. Coverage must be verified before service, and direct billing is available only when the claim and local process support it. Read the insurance guide.
What warranty applies to my service?
Installations are backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty. If an installation fails because of our workmanship, contact us so the issue can be reviewed and corrected at no charge. Product defects, new damage and unrelated vehicle conditions are not workmanship failures.
Will my vehicle need camera calibration?
Some vehicles require calibration or another vehicle-specific procedure after windshield replacement. The requirement and available support depend on the vehicle, glass configuration and service area and are confirmed before scheduling. Learn about ADAS calibration.
Can a windshield chip be repaired?
Some small, clean impacts limited to the outer glass layer may be repairable. Edge damage, deep damage, spreading cracks, visibility-area damage or multiple impacts may require replacement. A technician must assess the actual damage. Review chip-repair eligibility.
How long does mobile windshield replacement take?
Many straightforward installations take roughly an hour, but trim, weather, cameras, calibration and vehicle condition can add time. Adhesive safe-drive-away time is separate and must be followed before driving. Plan for your appointment.
What makes a location suitable for mobile service?
Mobile work generally needs a safe, level and accessible area with room around the vehicle. Rain, strong wind, extreme temperatures, traffic, parking rules or insufficient clearance can require a different time or location.
How soon can I drive after windshield replacement?
The technician provides a safe-drive-away time based on the adhesive, weather and installation conditions. Do not drive until that time has passed, even if the physical installation is complete.
What happens after I submit a request?
You receive an on-screen confirmation with a request ID. Windshield Zone reviews your contact, location, vehicle and glass details and follows up to confirm the exact part, final price and scheduling.
How soon can service be scheduled?
Timing depends on the location, correct glass, parts availability, technician capacity, weather and calibration needs. An appointment is confirmed after the request is reviewed.
What information is submitted?
The request includes the contact, location, vehicle and glass details you enter. Text-message consent is optional. Review the Privacy Policy for more information.
